The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit and develop a list of qualified consultants to provide comprehensive services in resource development and grant writing services to the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD). Selected consultant(s) will work with and assist the EWDD’s Resource Development Unit, other City staff and stakeholders to develop and submit competitive grant proposals.

The goal of EWDD’s grant seeking is to secure funding for services and projects which the EWDD requires to continue current and programmatic initiatives related to workforce and economic development. Grant writers who are pre-qualified and placed on the list will be required to enter into an agreement with the City to provide grant writing services on an as-needed basis. The list will remain valid for a period of three years from the date it is finalized.
