The Mid-City BusinessSource Center recently helped fashion designer Joseph Hung obtain a $30,000 Small Business Administration (SBA) Microloan, allowing him to grow his business and fulfill several crucial orders.

Joseph, who has nine years of fashion industry experience, owns Downtown Los Angeles fashion brand Double Denim. In December 2019, Mr. Jung was referred to the Mid-City BusinessSource Center to help grow his company.

Business counselor Phuong Le provided extensive business guidance, including reviewing the company’s credit, cash flow and financial statements. He also assisted Joseph through the entire loan process.

Once Joseph was approved for the microloan, the capital injection allowed him to make several critical manufacturing deposits to fulfill eight new purchase orders totaling more than $182,000.
