The Economic and Workforce Development Department is accepting applications for an Community Administrative Support Worker II (CASWII). The position is assigned to the Administrative Services Division, and is limited to 25 hours of work per week, not to exceed 990 hours of work per service year.


The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
  1. Provide front-counter customer service in the EWDD Support Services office
  2. Dispatch City vehicles by taking reservations and completing required paperwork
  3. Receive deliveries through U.S. mail, UPS, FedEx, and vendors
  4. Provide messenger/mail service between EWDD and other City offices, as needed
  5. Performs data entry into Excel and/or other formats
  6. Coordinates requests for building maintenance and other service related requests
  7. Other clerical support duties as needed


  1. High school graduate, or equivalent
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  3. Must be able to follow instructions given both orally and in writing
  4. Able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs
  5. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and a good driving record are also required

  4. Ability to work under minimal supervision
