The City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (previously known as the Community Development Department) is pleased to announce the release of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Draft Local Strategic Workforce (Five Year) Plan for Program Years 2013-2017. The Five Year Local Workforce Plan outlines workforce development strategies, including employment training and supportive services for low-income residents throughout the City. The Plan summarizes the administration, the program budget; program goals and service strategies for the next five program years.
