EWDD BusinessSource Director Richard Pallay (back row, third from right) shared tips on how to launch a business in LA with young entrepreneurs
The City’s Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) recently provided tips on how to launch a small business in Los Angeles to a group of 18 young entrepreneurs from the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NTFE).

Richard encouraged the youth to provide solutions, to find ways to help communities thrive.

“I’ve been helping influencers, entrepreneurs and communities by giving them information by saying, ‘This is how you thrive,’” he said.

Richard represented EWDD on a panel that included representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development, the Office of Finance and the City’s Planning Department. The event was held in Tom Bradley Tower at City Hall on Friday July 13, 2018.
