The Economic and Workforce Development Department is accepting applications for an Community Administrative Support Worker II (CASWII), assigned to the Workforce Development Board (WDB), and will provide administrative support to their staff. The position is limited to 25 hours of work per week, not to exceed 990 hours of work per service year.


The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
  1. Answer main phone line, respond to public inquiries, and provide general customer service
  2. Assists in managing calendars and appointments of WDB staff
  3. Provide assistance before, during, and after board meetings with copying materials, arranging services, room set-up and breakdown, etc
  4. Maintain WDB website, social media, and email accounts
  5. Research and gather data for WDB Committee reports
  6. Other assignments and duties as needed


  1. High school graduate, or equivalent
  2. Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  4. Must be able to follow instructions given both orally and in writing
  5. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and a good driving record are also required
